Wee Seng counts over 20 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, across fab start up, process integration, technology development, yield improvement, manufacturing, equipment engineering, cost management and program management.

Helming the SSIA Secretariat team since 2018, Wee Seng has redefined the association’s strategic directions and operations, to better deliver its mission and vision. Embracing a holistic approach to driving business transformation in Singapore and the region, he concurrently sits on several Advisory Committees, such as in Singapore Polytechnic’s School of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (SEEE), the government and industry-backed Industrial Transformation Asia-Pacific (ITAP) platform, as well as ESG’s Smart Manufacturing Technical Committee (SMTC) and Environment and Resources Standards Technical Committee for Energy.

Wee Seng holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Nanyang Technological University and a Masters (MSc) in Management of Technology from National University of Singapore.

With extensive experience in the sector, Nasri has played a pivotal role in fostering global collaboration among semiconductor leaders. Under his leadership, ISES has become a premier platform for industry executives to connect, share insights, and drive innovation across various regions including the United States, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.

Salah Nasri has been instrumental in expanding the reach and impact of ISES, organizing significant events that bring together decision-makers from across the semiconductor ecosystem. These events provide opportunities for networking, collaboration, and the exchange of ideas crucial for advancing the industry in areas such as semiconductor manufacturing, MEMS, AI, automotive electronics, and more.

His leadership has not only enhanced the visibility of ISES globally but also strengthened partnerships with key industry players, ensuring that ISES remains at the forefront of semiconductor innovation and development. Salah Nasri has previously worked at Goldman Sachs’s, Credit Suisse and International Business Development Group. Salah Nasri graduated from Oxford University and Loughborough University in International Relations and Economics. In 2024, Salah Nasri became a Stanford University Alumni after completing the Stanford Executive Program.

Mrs. Do Thi Thuy Huong is an Executive Board Director of the Vietnam Electronics Industries Association (VEIA) - an NGO represented for more than 300 electronic industry enterprises in Vietnam. As one of the leaders of the national important industry association, Mrs. Huong has spent more than 30 years serving to the development and interests of the electronic industry in Vietnam and the South East Asia. She collaborates the electronic industry manufacturers, industry policy makers and all stake-holders to foster the industry at the context of the global change for the industry 4.0, digitalization and sustainable manufacturing in Vietnam, in South East Asia, regional and international.
She is the active participant in international field context such as the World Electronic Forum and the Asian Electronic Forum, where garthering all the top leaders of electronic industry worldwide. She is known widely as the national expert in electronic industry and is recognized by many local and international organizations, and government authorities.
In the same time, Mrs. Huong also works as Director Board of Viettronics Group, a Vietnamse corporation having 14 companies affiliated and a CEO of a jont venture company with South Korean partners. She has been elected as Vice President of the Vietnam Association for Supporting Industries (VASI) since its establishment in year 2017 and being re-elected in year 2022.
Her university graduate background is in electrical automation and her second degree is bachelor of law in economic. She got her master degree in Economic and Public Policy from the School of Korea Development Institue, a leading think tank institution from Government of South Korea and many certificates of post-graduation from Japan, Germany and Thailand in business and public aministration policies.

Quang-Dam Le (nicknamed QD) joined Marvell in 2011, and held different positions such as Technical Director, Senior Director, Associate Vice President, and presently, he is the General Director of Marvell Technology Vietnam. He was graduated with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree from Ho Chi Minh City University of Science (HCMUS) in 1988, a Master (MSc.) degree in Physics in Canada in 1993 , and a Doctorate (Ph.D.) degree in Signal Processing (Artificial Intelligence) in Canada in 1996, before starting his career in the semiconductor industry.

QD began his career as an algorithm designer for all Digital Signal Processing (DSP) IPs for Miranda Technologies, thereafter Gennum Corporation as Senior Video System Architect, and went on to join ATI Technologies Inc (acquired later by Advanced Micro Devices - AMD) as Senior Manager to manage the DSP teams, responsible for Markham (Canada), Bangalore (India), Shanghai (China) and Munich (Germany). Just prior to Marvell, he was a Senior Principal Scientist with Broadcom. He has strong interest in System Architecture, Signal Processing and Artificial Intelligence.

Dr. Lim Joo Ghee is the Director of the School of Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE) at Singapore Polytechnic (SP). He leads one of Singapore's premier engineering schools, shaping education for both pre-employment training (PET) students and continuing education and training (CET) learners. The school offers full-time diplomas in Aerospace Electronics, Computer Engineering, Engineering with Business, and Electrical & Electronic Engineering.

With an unwavering passion for pedagogical innovation, Dr. Lim actively champions the integration of the CDIO (Conceive-Design-Implement-Operate) framework into the curriculum, ensuring students are equipped with hands-on, practical skills tailored to the demands of the modern engineering landscape. Dr. Lim has been instrumental in driving industry engagement initiatives, establishing partnerships with companies in various engineering domains. He believes in the role of tertiary institutions in transforming local enterprises through effective workforce training and capability development in emerging technologies like IoT, Robotics, AI & Data Analytics, and 5G.

He serves on the Council of the AutomationSG, a professional association for companies and professionals in the Automation, Internet-of-Things (IoT) and Robotics sectors. He is also an EXCO member of the Singapore Advanced Research and Education Network (SingAREN). As Staff Manager in Product Marketing, Hai Hoang oversees Qualcomm product roadmap and portfolio in Vietnam with the goal of driving Qualcomm technology adoption in this region. Hai also leads key initiatives of Edge AI, IoT, Smart Cities and 5G in Vietnam.

Prior to joining Qualcomm, Hai spent 8 years at Viettel’s Device R&D and Manufacturing Division. He was the Project Manager for many key product development projects. Hai then advanced and became Technology Manager, Senior R&D Manager, Product Director and Head of Strategic Partnerships for Viettel Group with broad scope and product lines including smartphones, IoT, WiFi and access products. Hai also worked with Vingroup as Director of Strategic Partnerships and managed the partnerships in Israel, US and EU for Smartphone, IoT and Automotive product development.

Hai graduated from Vietnam National University, Hanoi, in Electronics and Telecommunication and holds Ph.D degree from Florida State University, U.S in Electrical Engineering.

Dr. Hao Van Bui obtained a MSc. degree in Materials Science at International Training Institute for Materials Science (ITIMS), Hanoi University of Science Technology (HUST) in October 2008. From October 2008 to October 2012, he was a PhD. student at MESA+ Institute for Nanotechnology, University of Twente, the Netherlands, where he obtained his PhD. degree in Electrical Engineering in January 2013. He worked as a postdoctoral researcher at MESA+ (November 2012 - October 2014) and at the Department of Chemical Engineering, TU Delft, the Netherlands (November 2014 - May 2017). From May 2017 to October 2018, he worked as a lecturer and researcher at the Department of Physics, Quy Nhon University, Vietnam. Since November 2018, he has been working as a lecturer and researcher, leading the ALD Research Group at Phenikaa University, Vietnam. His research focuses on atomic layer deposition technology for electronic, optical, energy and evironmental applications.
